Cheryl Anne (DiNicola) Davis, 60, of Winsted, formerly Litchfield, Ct., entered into heavenly rest on April 9, 2019. Born in Torrington Dec. 9, 1958, she was known for her warm smile, sense of caring for others, easy going nature, and love of music, and her dogs. Cheryl also loved her family and friends, and her Lord. She attended Litchfield Public Schools, and spent most of her years caring for others as a nurse’s aide, and as a waitress in local restaurants for many years.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 20 years, David Davis, her dear sister, Rhonda DiNicola, and her father, Joseph DiNicola,
She is survived by her loving mother, Tessa DiNicola, brothers, Daniel Barber and Richard DiNicola, mother-in-law, Margaret Mitchell, aunts Blanche Gardener and Judy Bouchez, cousins, Barbara, Marcia, George, and Eddie and her friend and Yahtzee partner, Joe. Her family would like to thank Jennifer for her years of care and friendship, and her caregivers at Valerie Manor and Athena Hospice.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, at St. Francis Cemetery, 863 South Main Street, Torrington, officiated by Rev. Robert F. Tucker. Rowe Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the animal rescue, Bandit’s Place, P.O. Box 44, East Hartland, CT 06027.
